Terms of Use.

Last updated: April 2026  ·  Effective upon publication

Notice: These are preliminary Terms of Use published while HeirPal's formal legal documentation is being finalized by counsel. They reflect our genuine operating principles and user obligations. A comprehensive, attorney-reviewed version will replace this document prior to full platform launch. Questions? Contact us at legal@heirpal.com.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HeirPal ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, waitlist members, and future registered users.

2. About HeirPal

HeirPal is a private matchmaking platform that facilitates introductions between individuals who wish to pass on wealth, wisdom, property, heirlooms, or business opportunities ("Grantors") and individuals open to receiving such gifts ("Heirs").

HeirPal is strictly an introduction service. We do not hold, transfer, guarantee, facilitate, or take custody of any assets. We are not a financial institution, law firm, escrow service, or fiduciary of any kind. All transfers of assets occur entirely off-platform between parties and their independent legal representatives.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use HeirPal. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.

4. Waitlist Phase

HeirPal is currently in a pre-launch waitlist phase. By joining the waitlist, you are expressing interest in the platform — you are not entering into a binding agreement for services, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the platform upon launch.

5. Introduction Service — Limitation of Liability

HeirPal's role is limited to facilitating introductions between Grantors and Heirs. We explicitly disclaim liability for:

Users engage with each other entirely at their own risk. HeirPal strongly recommends that all users obtain independent legal counsel before entering into any agreement arising from a platform connection.

6. User Conduct

By using HeirPal, you agree not to:

7. Identity Verification

When the full platform launches, both Grantors and Heirs will be subject to identity verification via a third-party provider. Verification confirms identity only — it does not constitute a background check, financial verification, or endorsement of any user's character or intentions. HeirPal is not responsible for the actions of verified users.

8. Grantor Anonymity

Grantors may browse Heir profiles anonymously. HeirPal makes reasonable efforts to protect Grantor identity until voluntary disclosure, but does not guarantee absolute anonymity. Users agree not to attempt to identify Grantors through any means. Any breach of this obligation may result in immediate account termination.

9. Off-Platform Transfers

Any transfer of assets — financial, physical, or otherwise — that arises from a HeirPal connection must occur off-platform, between the parties and their independent legal representatives. HeirPal is not a party to any such transfer and bears no responsibility for its terms, execution, or outcome.

10. Subscriptions & Payments

Grantor accounts are free. Heir accounts will require a paid subscription upon platform launch. Specific pricing, billing terms, and refund policies will be published prior to launch and will form part of these Terms at that time.

11. Termination

HeirPal reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we determine to be harmful to the Platform or its users. Termination does not entitle users to a refund except where required by law.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on HeirPal — including the name, logo, design, copy, and platform features — is the property of HeirPal and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without our prior written consent.

13. Disclaimers

HeirPal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Specific jurisdictional details will be confirmed upon legal incorporation and will be reflected in the attorney-reviewed version of these Terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as HeirPal develops. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist members via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
